Kanhym is one of the largest commercial producers of slaughter stock in South Africa, slaughtering more than 2600 carcasses per week. Presently 70% of this production is supplied to Tiger Brands / Enterprise (Pty) Ltd.

Specialist PIC breeding lines are utilized for this production. Slaughter pigs are produced using wholesome grain based feed containing no ingredients of animal origin.

Processers and packers prefer our PIC brands as the PIC carcasses are lean, healthy, of exceptional quality and in huge demand by the contemporary and informed consumer. All our commercial units are also certified under the PPP (Premium Pork Producers) meat quality assurance and traceability program.
