Kanhym Feedlot buys quality weaner calves. As producers of Tenderlicious beef, Kanhym buys weaner calves direct from the farmer at competitive prices.

RECEPTION AND PROCESSING
The animals are transported under conditions of minimal stress to the feedlot and weighed over assized scale. Each animal is prepared for the intensive system and an individual identification number is recorded on the ear tag.

PRODUCTION
Each production group is allocated to a pen with artificial pastures and under-roof feed troughs space where they are introduced to feedlot rations. The animals are allotted almost twice the feed trough space per animal as compared to the industry norm.

FEEDING
Animals get fresh, nutritious and tasteful feeds 3 times a day in the under-roof feed trough space where the sun does not dry out the feed nor does the rain damage the essential nutrients.

There are three rations, all scientifically formulated with no products of animal origin or feeding additives that compromises the tenderness of the beef.
